On Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, the one and only Hatsune Miku is bringing her MIKU EXPO 2026 North America Tour straight to Arizona, and it’s about to be a full-on digital daydream come to life. So what is this show exactly? MIKU EXPO is an immersive projection party, a real-life holographic performance by the world’s most famous virtual pop idol. That’s right — Miku, AKA  Hatsune Miku who is literally a game created in 2007 by Crypton Future Media as part of Yamaha’s VOCALOID 2 software series, will appear on stage as a full 3D projection, performing with a live band, surrounded by thousands of turquoise penlights, synchronized chants, and fans who know every lyric by heart. The show fuses anime aesthetics, futuristic visuals, J-pop, EDM, and rock into one unhinged, euphoric celebration of global fandom and digital creativity. And if you’re just now tuning in, here’s the lore: She’s not a human singer — she’s a voicebank, powered by real vocal samples from actress Saki Fujita and the imagination of the internet. Fans write the lyrics, make the beats, design her outfits, animate her videos — and Miku performs them all. She’s been the face of everything from Toyota ads to Louis Vuitton fashion shows, but her truest home is the stage — where code becomes charisma and creativity turns into chaos.
